PLEASE NOTE: The mobile planetarium requires 7m x 7m clear indoor floorspace and 3.5m unimpeded height. Access to a standard electrical socket is also required.

Prices - Schools
Visits are charged at full-day and half-day prices
Prices work out to be approx. £2-£4 per pupil (depending on timetabling and class size).

Half-day: £355 ex. VAT (up to 4 shows)

Full-day: £595 ex. VAT (up to 7 shows)
Show durations can be tailored to fit the school day – from 30 minutes to 1 hour. We will provide example timetables at point of enquiry. Travel cost is included in the above up to 100 miles round trip from DD5. Mileage thereafter is charged at 45p per mile ex. VAT. VAT charged at 20%
Prices - Community Groups
Uniformed Groups
For Girlguiding, Scouts, and other uniformed groups (from 4 to 18 yrs):

Standard package:
£6 per head, leaders free (minimum price £120)*
A presenter led planetarium experience of up to 60 minutes.

Extended package:
£8 per head, leaders free (minimum price £144)*
Includes the above, plus two of the following: meteorite handling, a further pre-recorded planetarium show, or in-hall planets activity. Comfort break included . Total activity time 90 minutes.

Prices - Birthday Parties
Prices that let you invite all their friends and classmates!
Child's Birthday Party Packages - suitable for 7th Birthdays and older

Standard package:
£6 per child, adults free (minimum price £120)*
A presenter led planetarium experience of up to 60 minutes.

Extended package:
£8 per child, adults free (minimum price £144)*
Includes the above, plus meteorite handling and a further pre-recorded planetarium show (and comfort break) . Total activity time 90 minutes.
*Price shown already include VAT at 20%. Parties with more than 35 children will require two separate shows to accommodate everyone. Venue requirements: 7m x 7m of clean flat indoor floorspace is required, with 3.5m of ceiling height (taking account of hanging lights, projectors etc.), plus access to a reliable standard electrical socket. The venue hire duration must include one hour of planetarium set-up time before the first show, and an hour of pack up time after the last show. At least one supervising adult is required in the dome at all times, and at least one other in the building. The whole audience sits on the floor as standard, but one or two of the venue’s own chairs can be included if needed.
